WHAT AND WHERE?
We will take you to Aeroatelier, an air sports centre run by the famous Swiss pilot Andy Hediger and his team. The center has the necessary infrastructure for all kinds of air sports. With a high level of professionalism and safety for people who want to broaden their sporting horizons.
Situated in the very heart of Argentina. LA CUMBRE, a place in the world in total harmony with nature in a valley at 1100 m.a.s.l. which drops 400 m towards the west, providing excellent conditions for all air sports activities. The region also offers other interesting activities, from winetasting to gaucho asado. Let us surprise you!
The microclimate of La Cumbre makes it an ideal location for flying all year round. The untouched landscapes of the region also create stunning views from the cockpit of an aircraft.
FLY WITH US
We have classes to prepare you to fly all the aeroplanes in Hanger 3. Added to this we can pass on that essential knowledge of meteorological conditions, aircraft maintenance and everything else a trainee pilot must know. We also welcome professional pilots to our facilities that are looking for the chance to reconnect with their passion for flying.
The syllabus for aviation education created by Andy is designed to give a true feeling for flying while also preparing students to reach a Pilot License with high level air-experiences. During your visit you may also like to fly a sailplane, or a paraglider. Don’t hesitate to share any of your special requests during your time with us.
HISTORY
AEROATELIER was created based on a vision of Swiss Andy Hediger, who arrived in Argentina in 1997 to share his passion of flying. Andy masters delta flying, paragliding, skydiving, sailplanes, micro-light aircrafts, and planes. He took over the formerly abandoned grounds of the Aeroclub, where he generated new activities, creating the infrastructure for academic activities and for the organization of events and air sports services, as well as cultural and company ventures.
AEROATELIER is the proud home of an extensive range of lightsports aircraft including Pipistrel Virus SW 100 912, Alpha Trainer and Taurus. Built from state-of-the-air composite materials this lightweight yet robust aircraft features an unprecedented payload. Watch the movie below for more insights!
